Favorite Fotos Friday!

Hello friends,

We had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends and I have way too many pictures to share! But we are preparing for a winter road trip to visit family up north - so I am taking a blogging break to enjoy the holidays with my family and probably won't update again till the boys go back to school - Jan. 8th. Of course traveling 15 hours with 4 kids and a dog - I'm not sure if I am excited about our trip or scared to death! :) We hope Allie travels well . . .

But here are a few of my favorite photos from Christmas until I have time to post more . . .

Setting out cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve.

Allie did good smiling for the pictures until she realized she could reach the cookies!

After being told not to touch the presents for the past month - Allie was thrilled to finally be able to tear into her gifts! And with 3 sets of grandparents and 4 uncles - she had plenty to open and she loved every minute of it.

3 excited boys waiting to come down the stairs on Christmas morning!

May you all have a Happy New Year! I hope 2008 is filled with lots of love and many blessings for all!

Ending with a scripture . . .

"Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory."
Romans 5:1-2

Peace, hope & love to all,

I just scrolled down and was reading your blog. You have a great family. I clicked on the prayer page and that was so powerful to me. I thank the Lord everyday for a healthy child I can't imagine life with a sick little one. My Dad is fighting cancer right now and I see the little miracles that are coming our way every day. Thanks for sharring your story. Have a happy New Year.

Know that I'm praying!
Luke 2:29-32 Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

Know that I'm still here praying!
Isaiah 49:13-16a Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted. But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands...

Hi Heather and family! I was glad to hear that you had a wonderful Christmas. I hope you had a wonderful trip also! I have never posted a message before, but have followed AMAZING Jacob's site for a long time. I check your site often for updates and have been a silent prayer warrior for a long time. I have started to post several times, but never felt that my words did justice the fear, saddness, joy, hope, ect that I have felt for your family! You and your family are truly remarkable and the term amazing definetly describes Jacob! What a special little boy. I have a one year old daughter and a three year old son and you have definetly taught me to hug a little tighter! Thank you for sharing your story.
