"Like snowflakes, my Christmas memories gather and dance - each beautiful, unique and too soon gone."
Deborah Whipp
As first time parents, Donnie and I were absolutely thrilled at Kyle's first Christmas! He was the first grandchild on both sides of the family so it was so fun to have a baby at Christmas. He was definitely the center of attention! Kyle was 8 months old for his first Christmas.
Brandon, Jacob and Devin were 6 1/2 months old for their first Christmas! How I loved that time with all of them - they were a handful - but also so much fun! After such a difficult pregnancy - I can remember feeling so very thankful that they were healthy and home for Christmas! What blessings they were . . . and still are. Kyle was 2 1/2 in these pictures with the boys. These pictures just make me smile as I remember that busy, but precious Christmas!
And here are the pictures we used for Christmas cards over the years . . .

"Christmas--that magic blanket that wraps itself about us, that something so intangible that it is like a fragrance. It may weave a spell of nostalgia. Christmas may be a day of feasting, or of prayer, but always it will be a day of remembrance--a day in which we think of everything we have ever loved."
Augusta E. Rundel
Ending with a scripture . . .
"How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!"
Isaiah 52:7
Walking down memory lane . . . wrapped in the magic blanket of Christmas,

Hi Heather,
My name is Amanda and I'm from Colorado. I had come across Jacob's site through another CB site. I have followed your journey for the last couple of years and I must say that I am SO encouraged by you. Your family is just SO beautiful, and your faith in God...there aren't words for it. Your family is amazing!! :) i can totally understand your wanting to use "blogger safety". I have a blog site, but I am horrible at keeping up with it. However, what I will do is send you a private email with my wedding website (getting married in June), and that way you can put a face with my name. :) OK...take care and have a very blessed day! :) Much prayers and love your way.

Heather, thanks for sharing these beautiful Christmas photos. I remember the ones from 2004 on - that's when I first learned of Jacob and started visiting his website and came to love him and all of you. I can't believe how much Jacob looks like Kyle did at the same age. As I was looking at the pictures it came to me that as you watch Kyle grow up, you will get a glimpse of what Jacob would look like at the same age - I think he and Kyle could have been twins.
I hope you and your family have a most wonderful Christmas.
Merry Christmas to you! Your kids stockings are GREAT! I was just wondering if they were made or bought? If they are bought can you share where?
Thanks
LA
What adorable pictures. Thanks for sharing!
Lorianne,
Believe it or not - I got the stockings at Walgreens two years ago! They had them last year, too, because I bought one for Allie. :) I love that they are so big - plenty of room to fit all the stocking stuffers!
~Heather
Your pictures are amazing, how did you manage to take them with 4 small children! I have been following Jacob's site for a couple of years and those photos also took me down memory lane, how they have grown up. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
Heather..
I wanted to leave you a note tonight to wish you a VERY MERRY CHRISTmas just in case I don't sign in again before then. =-)
Your little ones are just TOO PRECIOUS! I put the pic of the boys and Allie on my fridge. HOPEFULLY LINK will get a BIG dose of "baby fever!" Ha!!! Allie melts my heart each time I see her smile... what a blessing! (My boys have started having girl fevers too) Hehehe (Oh, I thought it was a hoot that you mentioned taking so many pictures just to get a good one. I think I get 5 good ones out of every hundred that I take. LOL!!)
OKAY... You guys take care and enjoy the holidays... we'll be praying for you!
Love,
Tonya
Love all of the pictures. Oh, three babies, wow you must have been exhausted.
My favorites are 2003 and 2006.
Guess we are "remembering when" this time of year.
Enjoy Allie's first Christmas. We missed Reese's. He spent it with his wonderful foster family.
Heather,
Thanks for posting the pics of your Christmas card pictures. I'm doing mine this morning and I'm hoping to post on my blog later today the picture that made the cut.
Your children are beautiful and I wish that you all have a wonderful Christmas making many memories. Allie is so adorable and her pictures always make me smile!
Oh Heather, thanks so much for the trip down memory lane. It was so precious and I just loved seeing the pictures of the boys. I'm sure I had seen some of them before, but I NEVER EVER get tired of seeing their sweet faces; and now I get to see that sweet Allie's cute face. She is just so adorable. My prayer for your family is that you have a most blessed Christmas and a happy, healthy new year. You remain in my prayers and you continue to inspire me. God bless you all.
