Baby Girl

Hello friends,

Allie knows most of her body parts and animals sounds and she knows who each of her brothers are. For the longest time she called them all "Bubba" but she is able to tell them apart now! We have been trying so hard to get all that on video, but it never fails that when the video camera is out - she won't perform! So we have tried several times to video her . . . with not much luck! At first she moved around too much so we decided to put her in the high chair - but then she was too hungry. But after about 12 takes - we at least have a little bit of video that turned out!

So enjoy a little bit of our baby girl . . . we worked hard for this 2 minutes of video! :0) Oh, how we love her so very much!

That is adorable! I am just amazed...what a smart little cookie she is. I would have to say that Joshua is a long way from doing all that. I was thrilled this week that he finally said "mama" though not to me in particular. :) I am so glad you posted this...it is fun to see her in action!

Heather,
I am online reading some blogs and I came across this one. I had just read your update and wonderful video of Allie. Then I opened it up and couldn't believe it. I felt just like Jacob was thanking me for keeping an eye on his little sister. Check out the beautiful picture on this blog.

Well...I was so excited to show Amy Joy the video...but she started to cry..saying Jonathan does not do any of that. I tried to tell her that Boys are slower than girls. I guess I should not have shown her...lol. I reminded her that Allie has brothers all around her all the time. She is soooo worried now. Jonathan knows everything you say to him..but only says "ball". I reminded her that she did not talk until she was 3 years old....and was in the gifted program through out her years at school! I try to tell her babys are all different.
Anyway..Baby Girl is sooooo cute. I loved it when she looked for Minnie when you asked her what a dog says. ...that was so cute...and when she batted her eyes she was so sweet. The way she ran to Kyle was just priceless!
I love having a baby this age around the house. They really are alot of fun.

How adorable. We only had one of our kids who moved her eyes instead of pointing to them...
This verse has gotten me through a lot. Know that I'm praying!

WOW!!! What a little smartie. You must have needed a nap after that. It took some hard work!!

She is talking much better than Reese, but I do hear boys are slower. My girls were combining 2-3 words around that age, but not Reese. We get a few words here and there. It will come......

Her expressions are great!!

In one of your recent posts Allie is wearing a cute ladybug shirt w/ denim shorts. Savannah has the same one and I love it.
I posted some Disney pictures on my Blog. We had a blast and I thought of Jacob everytime I saw a painted face.
