Hello friends,
I am still trying to catch up on my pictures from Christmas. And joining Facebook last week did not help me get anything done. In fact, it put me further behind as I spent most of last week reconnecting with "old" friends. I'm not sure I can keep up with both FB and the blog - just not enough hours in the day! So my New Year's Resolution is to NOT get addicted to Facebook - and I am going to pray for self-control. :)
I finally got all of my pictures from the holidays downloaded and edited! These are the pictures from Christmas and I'll share the ones from our trip to Indiana and New Year's later this week. I took so many pictures and it was really hard choosing which ones to share. :)
Christmas Eve is always spent at my mom's house where we have a "Happy Birthday Jesus" party.

Here is Allie & my nephew, Joey. Allie LOVES Joey and is always thrilled when she gets to hold him or help take care of him.

The kid table at my mom's house . . . or should I say the BOY table?? Of course, Allie had to sneak in the picture, too. That girl loves to have her picture taken.

Christmas Eve night! They were all so excited.

Christmas morning!
Allie loved her Sit-n-Spin.

The boys opening a gift together.

Allie watching Brandon play a new game on his DS.

Hope you all have a fantastic week! I'm off to

Good luck with that not-getting-hooked-on-facebook thing...let me now how that works out for you ;) It appears there is no middle ground on that, you either are crazed by it or don't ever get involved. Oh boy!
The Christmas pics are gorgeous. It's amazing to see how much your boys are growing and changing since I first met them, but Allie is starting to transform from that baby to a little girl. That HAIR is outrageous!
Love to you all,
Anissa

Heather that is a GREAT New Year's Resolution:)
Good luck! My rule of thumb, unplug the laptop and the battery will keep me in line... I am a person that loves to research so between that and checking Facebook and MySpace, I know my time online won't get carried away. My laptop beeping will cut me off and send me on my way. However, both MySpace and Facebook are mobile so I can get messages to my phone but that is okay. I have really enjoyed connecting with some old friends I had lost touch with and being able to keep better in touch with others (like you!) with little short messages here and there. Blogging has been fun as well but I am not too good at it. Have a great evening. Tracy:)
The pictures are so sweet!! I love the one of Allie with Joey. Adorable!
I know you are really busy but can you please tell me how you get frames around your photos on the sidebar? I'm new to blogspot and can't figure it out.
Happy New Year!
It looks like you had a great Christmas!
I am sooo with you. I can't do Facebook and keep up a blog. Although I do have a profile on Facebook, I don't even check it!
Hey Heather!!
Happy New Year!! I have some books I still need to send you for Jacob's Stocking--late as usual! It's your fault, you said we could send them after Christmas. :) OK, just kidding, it's not YOUR fault!!
Let me know how the Facebook thing goes. My older son is on it ALL the time!! I have not joined the new age yet, it never seems like I have enough time as it is! AAAAHHHH! :)
Love you All!!
Good luck not getting addicted to Facebook lol - it's impossible to avoid!
I just love the picture of Brandon playing on his DS with his arm around Allie! That is just so sweet! What a good big brother!
I will pray for your (and my) self-control. :) Really, FB doesn't have to take up too much time once you get over the initial set up. It can really just be a few minutes a day (and a lot of people do even less but I would rather stay caught up :). I do spend more time on there than I should but only because I am goofing... :) Love the pictures. I cannot wait to see more!

Allie is going to make a great Mommy.....and if she's not careful Joey is going to be bigger than she is
I enjoyed the pics, and I love you being on facebook. It is fun, and at first I was consumed, but am not quite so much now. I at least fold one load of laundary a day:>)
Just spend as much time on FB as you want or as little as you want....
These words never cease to amaze me...praying so from Seattle right now!
Job 19:25-27 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

Beautiful pics Heather!!
And hmmmm...yes Facebook is rather addictive isn't it!
Take care,
Anna
Love the Christmas pics!
Oh you will love facebook too lol
Im on facebook also!
Thank you so much for answering my question! I was so excited to see your comment! I've been following your blog for many years (and have prayed and prayed for Jacob and your sweet family) and have quoted a lot of your wise words regarding Jacob and grief. When I quote you, I always say "my friend" and my husband laughs at me since we have never met and are not technically "friends" but when I saw your comment I couldn't help showing him. :) Nice to "meet"/interact with you.
Thanks again!
beautiful Christmas pictures!
good luck not getting addicted to fb. it's hard to stay away :) turn off the email alert option! it helps.
Too funny...I will have to say that I joined Facebook and find Blogging to still be more fun...I rarely look at it..but blogging, I do everyday, :) good luck, kristi

Gorgeous photos!! I love the "Happy Birthday Jesus" party. We used to do that a few years ago. We need to start that tradition again.
